Gena's true passion is planning weddings and gives each wedding as much attention as she would her own! She believes that there are no second chances here and no room for error. Priding herself on maintaining a calm demeanor, she never forgets that the most important thing is that you get married. Gena states, "Everything else is just stuff……FUN STUFF…. but just stuff."
Gena graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 with Bachelors’ Degree in Communications, Business and Sociology and is currently studying for her Master's Degree in Business Administration. Gena has been awarded Small Business of the Year by the Currituck Chamber of Commerce in 2007, 2009 and 2012, Ambassador of the Year 2007, 2008, 2009 and serves on the Board of Directors for the Currituck Chamber of Commerce. She is active in the community with the Currituck Wild Goose Rotary where she is the Chartering President and serves on the board.

Patti Cakes developed from Emily Patti's love of both sweets and art. She infuses her enthusiasm and imagination into every project she takes on. Growing up in Virginia Beach as well as rural New Hampshire inspired a love of the beach, mountains, nature and most importantly people. She has won the Wedding Wire Bride's Choice award in 2010,2011,2012,2013 and Wedding Wire Couples' Choice Award 2014.

Ricco Barrino, is an American R&B recording artist and songwriter from High Point, North Carolina. In 2009, Barrino secured a recording contract with American rapper T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records. He is also the brother of American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino and nephew of The Barrino Brothers.
When Ricco Barrino is not working on his own projects, he can be found making appearances on the tracks of high profile artist such as T.I’s “Porn Star,” B.O.B’s, “ 5th Dimension, and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s “ Gone,” or writing for his sister Fantasia, Missy Elliot, Trey Songz, Day 26, R Kelly and Angie Stone amongst many more. He also co-wrote the closing song of Lee Daniels’ “The Butler”, “In The Middle of the Night” with Fantasia, Keith Mack, & Gino Valentino. A record he holds dear to his heart, due to it being placed on a movie that is not only impactful but inspirational as well.

I got my hands on a set of turntables when I was in my late teens, and my journey into turntablism and DJing began. This journey has taken me to playing the smallest martini lounge, to enormous night clubs and bars, to the smallest and largest of wedding receptions. I certainly can play and am familiar with the majority of most music genres! I DJ several nightlife venues here on the Outer Banks throughout the week, which I think is very important because it requires me to constantly stay up-to-date with new music, and it keeps me DJ’ing during the wedding off-season(December-February).
